Property for rent in Slovenia
The market of property for rent in Slovenia is not very mature. The most important part of the market is that one of the first home and that one of holiday homes, especially in the sites on the Adriatic coast.
Slovenia, however, has a fairly active market of property for rent, especially thanks to the country's proximity to Italy.
The cities where the rental property market is most profitable are the tourist cities of Piran and Portoroz. Piran was a city of the Serenissima Republic of Venice and it still retains its architectural richness.
In the past few years, Portorož has become the capital of entertainment and luxury thanks to the many luxurious hotels of the area.
The capital Ljubljana is the city with the most active market of properties for rent in Slovenia. Here, rents range are from € 700 per month for an apartment of around 50 square meters to around € 1700 per month for an apartment of 120 square meters. The best properties for rent are in the historic centre of the capital although the prices here are much higher than elsewhere.
Other interesting cities to look for a property for rent in Slovenia are:
- Bled known as the Alpine pearl of Slovenia;
- Kranjska Gora, famous sports tourist centre near the city of Planica;
- Bohinj, the largest administrative centre of Slovenia.
